Shift: Various 2-2-3 Rotations


Principal Objective

Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.  l

 Job Requirements

  1. The job will require the person to define, measure, analyze and recommend implement upgrades to increase the safety of equipment/process.
  2. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematic drawings, engineering prints/specifications and/or manufacturing manuals, and/or verbal/written instructions.
  3. Install, program, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer controlled instrumentation / controls, automation components, sensors, control drives, PLC programs, etc
  4. Assembles and tests experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components following electrical code, manuals, schematics, blueprints, using hand tools, power tools and electrical and electronic test equipment.
  5. Develops wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion, and directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.  two-year technical degree OR over six years experience in Industrial maintenance and/or electronics.
  • Continuous standing throughout the shift, ability to work overtime including call-in support from other shifts.  Regular lifting up to 70lbs; frequent pulling, pushing and bending.    Ability to climb in overhead structures, beneath machine and in close quarters while performing analysis and repair work.
  • Knowledge of solid-state electronics including PLC’s, troubleshooting experience and programming experience preferred.  Working knowledge of AC and DC control circuits.
