Southwire Job Description
The Coordinator, of Retirement Services is responsible for daily coordination and administration the Southwire’s retirement plan programs, including the administration of data files, communications, and participant education efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Review routine and off-cycle contribution and loan files
• Resolve team member issues with People & Culture (P&C) administrators and vendor partners
• Assist team members with questions and concerns regarding their retirement plan benefits
• Provide new hires with appropriate communications of plan benefits
• Provide ongoing support for the P&C and benefit teams
• Assist in addressing team members’ and People & Culture Team’s, 401(k) and Pension related questions in a timely manner
• Generate and create reports to audit data files for internal and external partners
• Communicate with representatives from vendors/partners to ensure effective administration as well as the identification and resolution of problems
• Partner with P&C, payroll, finance, and other stakeholders to implement processes and process improvements
• Document and revise processes and procedures.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 2-4
Field of Expertise: 401k/Pension or Finance
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Education Level: Associates
Specialized Degree: Benefits or Finance
Years of Experience: 5-7
Preferred Field of Expertise: 401(k)/Pension/Finance
Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates:
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must be able to professionally handle confidential information
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to change focus quickly based on competing priorities

Travel: Domestic % of Time: Up to 25%
Workplace Setting: Hybrid (2-3 days a week On-Site at HQ in Carrollton, GA)
