Long Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is an onsite strategic partner to hiring managers and P&C Partners for a Southwire mega site and assigned client group locations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing TA strategies and programs that are in line with the business unit needs. This position will manage all aspects of the full cycle recruiting process to ensure that staffing requirements are met to attract, source, and interview top, diverse talent to meet dynamic business needs efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will find top talent for both hourly and salary positions across your assigned geographic area. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist must demonstrate expert knowledge of the recruitment process, build trust with candidates and hiring managers, and clearly articulate the Southwire Employee Value Proposition. The ideal candidate for this role will be a high energy, top-producing recruiter, with excellent relationship management skills. And under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position will own the entire search process while directly managing the needs of your dedicated hiring managers.  

Key Responsibilities
•    Manage full-cycle recruitment for all levels of talent, spanning multiple skill bases of exempt and non-exempt positions for a Southwire mega site location(s).
•    Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, internal stakeholders, and business leaders to address both short-term and long-term staffing requirements.
•    Act as a trusted talent advisor to leaders across the organization, fostering effective collaboration and strategic recruitment to ensure alignment on candidate requirements.
•    Lead strategic TA conversations with hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners utilizing internal and external talent market insights to understand staffing needs aligned with business priorities.
•    As a Talent Acquisition SME, use a consultative approach to coach hiring managers and PCBPs on TA best practices throughout the recruiting process.
•    Provide “World Class Service” in every interaction, acting with the greatest amount of professionalism and expressing the highest sense of urgency necessary to achieve or exceed desired hiring targets on a consistent basis.
•    Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, social networks, and networking events, to attract both active and passive candidates. In collaboration with our DEI team, establish and execute diverse recruiting strategies for Southwire positions.
•    Compile, analyze, and communicate recruitment data related to recruitment performance.
•    Identify trends and insights to support continuous improvement efforts.
•    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in recruiting to ensure Southwire remains competitive in attracting top talent.
