Job Summary

Under the direction of the Shared Financial Services Manager, the Corporate Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of an assigned Accounts Receivable Portfolio Team, using
critical thinking skills to effectively manage the AR portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, resolving, and documenting all customer issues presented, in addition to regular follow-up from previous days and daily review of the SAP aging buckets.
  •  Effective daily management of email communication and phone messages to ensure timely responses to internal and external customer needs.
  • Maintaining the current balance at 98% for each portfolio within the assigned AR Portfolio.
  • Ensuring that all discrepancy codes are reviewed and included in your daily workflow to maintain Accounts Receivable Momentum (ARM) and that all follow-up protocols are executed in a timely manner.
  • Utilizing all approved reporting tools and consistent root cause analysis to provide timely resolution of past due issues and detailed updates during the scheduled portfolio reviews, or as needed by     management.
  • Managing the overall risk profile of the assigned Portfolio Team by ensuring customers pay within terms, AR balances do not exceed credit limits without a concrete reason, by promptly addressing
      negative payment habits, and proactively alerting management of risk concerns.
  • Managing the daily order releases for your assigned Portfolio Team and your backup, as needed, including ongoing training of your backup and clear documentation of release guidelines in SAP or
      on the shared drive. Monitoring customers on auto release to ensure credit lines are not exceeded.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Credit & AR Management Team.

Required Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 2-4 years

Preferred Education & Experience

Preferred Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's

Preferred Field of Expertise: 2+ years’ experience in a high-volume AR or AP processing environment.

Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates:
· Full knowledge of AR Aging Reports 
· Proficiency in Word & Excel. Working knowledge of PowerPoint 
· Strong reconciliation, organization, and time management skills 
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven business acumen, exceptional interpersonal capabilities and possess an attention to detail. 
· SAP Experience desired.
