Job Summary
We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pricing, revenue, and profitability analysis, data manipulation, and data presentation skills. They will work in conjunction with Pricing Managers, Product Management, and the Commercial teams to execute system price changes across all Commercial and Residential wire and cable products and business channels. This role will support overall corporate price strategy execution through data analysis and reporting as well as identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, monitoring variability in pricing and discounting, and systematically tracking KPIs reporting on over/under performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily maintenance and execution of system loaded price changes for US Wire and Cable and periodically review existing pricing for outliers and opportunities to strengthen profitability.
- Perform data analysis to measure the effectiveness and realization of price changes and working with the rest of the pricing team to ensure that all KPIs are set up and tracked in a systematic manner.
- Manage pricing practices within SAP/PriceFX/CPQ and support IT projects on special project teams, integration tasks, and system enhancement implementations.
- Capture and organize market intelligence to improve pricing guidance, also tracking wins/losses against competition by scale, products, and geography.
- Conduct recurring and ad-hoc analyses at the request of the pricing team and external departments related to pricing and cost scenarios to maximize margin realization.
- Support pricing governance efforts to ensure adherence to pricing policies and discount thresholds.
- Conduct trainings to educate across functional teams on pricing systems, best practices, and strategic initiatives.
Required Education & Experience
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Specialized Degree: Business Administration; Finance; Accounting or related
Years of Experience: 3+
Field of Expertise:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, wire and cable sales, finance, accounting, product management or related field.
• The ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data and translate it into simple facts.
• The ability to identify and justify opportunities for pricing changes.
• Knowledge of products, markets, customers, and strategies.
• Must possess project management skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including PowerPoint and Word with an emphasis in Excel.
• Prior SAP, SAP Business Intelligence, CPQ, and Celonis experience is preferred.
