Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch
• Organize and set up equipment and workstations
• Perform duties following health, food service, government and other regulations.
• Demonstrate proper equipment operation skills
• Food preparation according to written and oral instructions.
• Replenish food and maintain clean serving areas.
• Monitor food and equipment temperatures at all times.
• Perform dishwashing duties of cooking, serving and eating utensils tools.
• Set up and break down of serving areas.
• Receive, stock and rotate incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Participate in formal and informal training.
• Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment.
• Perform related work as required
• Practice personal hygiene and proper sanitation procedures.
• Responsible for conducting quality, temperature, and inventory controls
• Perform all tasks assigned in a safe and productive manner
• Cleaning and sanitation awareness
• Ability to lift up to 40 LBS

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Graduate or equivalent (adequate education/training/experience to complete all tasks).
• 3 years of restaurant or food service experience
• Excellent work and attendance record
• Knowledge of food and nutrition
• General knowledge of methods used in preparing and serving
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Serve safe certified recommended
