Job Summary

The MRO Supply Manager will be responsible for the storeroom performance of multiple remote maintenance storerooms.  The Manager will lead the existing storeroom associates with oversight over contractor managed storerooms to ensure adherence and proper utilization of standardized MRO inventory policies and procedures.  Performance in this role will be defined by each managed storeroom's ability to right-size inventory value,  achieve acceptable turn rates, maintain inventory accuracy, avoid stockouts, and manage obsolescence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to a team of hourly associates across remote wire and cable manufacturing MRO storerooms.  Also provide oversight to existing contract managed storerooms.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for executing transactional and operational activity to maintain storeroom performance, appearance, and condition.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy in each storeroom meets or exceeds 95% cycle count accuracy.
  • Maintain ‘right-sized’ value through responsive obsolescence management, acceptable turns, duplicity elimination, and excess avoidance.
  • Analyze performances utilizing the SAP MM and PM modules.
  • Ensure adherence to all relative policies and procedures.
  • Network with supply chain leadership to ensure standardization across all MRO storerooms.
  • Provide customer satisfaction by minimizing material stockouts (< 2%) and thorough investigation / problem solving following stockout occurrences.
  • Foster a culture of virtual storerooms through effective escalation, storeroom associate capabilities, and consistent master data assignments.
  • Demand a safe work place across all areas of responsibility.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or 5+ of interenal Southwire experience 

5-7 Years of experience in supply chain, logistics and/or spare parts logistics

Experience with SAP 

Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.)

8-11 Years Experience
