Job Summary

Builds and manages a portfolio of small to mid size client accounts in the electrical industry by applying foundational sales and technical knowledge. Works semi-autonomously to support client retention, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction. Receives moderate guidance on strategy while progressively building product expertise, understanding market dynamics, and developing trusted client relationships. Applies standard procedures to evaluate options and recommend solutions in straightforward situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers assigned customer accounts by managing daily communications, order tracking, and service follow-ups across a designated territory.
  • Conduct routine field visits to client locations, providing product demonstrations, conducting account reviews, and resolving basic issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Coordinates sales and service activities to support the retention and expansion of existing accounts and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Develops proposals, quotes, and presentations by applying knowledge of electrical products, pricing structures, and customer needs.
  • Implements product and promotional strategies provided by sales leadership to drive awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.
  • Analyzes somewhat usage patterns and sales data to identify reorder opportunities and align product recommendations with market trends.
  • Communicates with internal departments such as logistics, credit, and technical support to ensure customer expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identifies opportunities to upsell or cross-sell within existing accounts by leveraging product knowledge and client interactions to suggest value-added solutions.
  • Documents all sales activities, customer feedback, and account updates using CRM systems to maintain accurate records and support forecasting.
  • Recommends enhancements to territory plans, sales processes, or customer resources based on firsthand observations and customer insights.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Required Education & Experience

    Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivilant experience.
