Students will receive a project at the beginning of the summer and present it in our project expo at the end of the summer. Job Description
Job Summary/Objective:
The purpose of Southwire’s College Programs is to help early career professionals bring together formal learning and
productive work to improve their ability to transition from school to work. Southwire provides interns and co-ops with
“real world” applications of their academic studies, helpful feedback and coaching, and consideration for employment
after graduation. Each student will have a variety of responsibilities and assigned projects that relate to their field of
study and be responsible for developing a timeline, progress updates, and final delivery in a senior leadership expo.
Note: All new interns and co-ops must begin in the summer rotation.

Key Responsibilities
· Your intern assignment is generally 10-12 weeks, and co-op assignment is generally 16-18 weeks and
will include an assigned project and opportunities to present your work.
· You will also collaborate on other exciting projects and work with talented peers and inspirational
leaders, many of whom began as interns and co-ops themselves.
· You will be provided a robust developmental experience through an immersive onboarding and
offboarding experience, assigned a mentor, networking opportunities, organized events, activities, and
community service /volunteer initiatives.
· You will have the opportunity to impact the future of the organization, all the while being exposed to
a world-class program community.
· Finally, our rising senior interns and co-ops are considered for full-time employment opportunities.
Long Description
The Salesforce Enterprise Intern will play a critical role in advancing our company’s digital sales enablement strategy by supporting the development of data-driven assets within Salesforce. This internship centers on building dashboards, analytics, and workflow insights that improve visibility into capital investments and help shape behaviors across the sales organization.
Working closely with the Digital Sales Enablement team, this intern will analyze Salesforce Enterprise data, identify patterns and opportunities, and create dashboards that enable leadership and sales teams to make informed, proactive decisions. The role offers hands-on experience with enterprise CRM systems, sales analytics, forecasting, and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Enterprise Sales data within Salesforce to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
- Build, test, and refine Salesforce dashboards for sales reps, managers, and executives.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Enablement, and IT to validate data structures and reporting requirements.
- Document insights, dashboard logic, and data definitions to support long-term sustainability.
- Assist in measuring adoption, usage, and sales behaviors tied to Salesforce workflows.
- Support ad-hoc analysis to inform leadership decision-making
- Develop recommendations for improving system structure, user experience, or reporting functionality.
Requirements
- Strong analytical mindset with interest in sales, finance, or business intelligence.
- Basic familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with datasets.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and translate data into clear stories.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn modern digital tools.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
