Job Summary

Location: Carrollton HQ or Battery office 

 

As a member of the SAP team, this person will work closely with the functional team, business liaisons, business analysts and other IT staff (internal and external) as needed for requirements gathering, understanding business priorities, and configuring the specific SAP ECC modules. .  The candidate should be able to work well with others, have a team-first attitude and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. A good understanding of specific SAP process, general business theory and concepts and the execution of given tasks for the related SAP ECC module is essential. This person will provide end user support, perform system configuration and coordinate testing activities in addition to following the established change management process.  A successful candidate must be able to analyze and document a business process flow from beginning to end.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and evaluate ideas from the business to improve or develop new functionality within SAP.
  • Direct external partners, offshore analysts, and developers in the execution of designed changes to SAP.
  • Document and maintain the business processes using SAP best practices.
  • Coordinate and participate in system integration, performance, and acceptance testing.
  • Work with the business to resolve defects, then define and communicate the proposed solution.
  • Manage the move of approved application changes thru the system landscape.
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting to the business community.
  • Assist with SAP training as new functionality is implemented, or new locations are brought live.
  • Ensure all project, change, and issue management processes are followed.
  • Lead projects of varying size and scope as required, within the designated timeline.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree

Specialized Degree: Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, Computer Science 

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

 

Preferred Education & Experience

Master's Degree

Years of Experience: 8-11 Years

Minimum of 5+ years of Functional Analyst experience preferred.
