Job Summary
Key Responsibilities

After completing the program, participants will be equipped with a broader knowledge base, a better understanding of Southwire’s business, and will have created new and meaningful relationships within Southwire. Upon successful completion, Sales Rotational Team Members have an opportunity to continue working for us in roles within Sales with increased responsibility.
- Participate in structured rotational assignments across multiple sales functions to develop a comprehensive understanding of Southwire’s commercial operations
- Support the execution of sales plans and strategies within assigned regions, channels, or technical product categories
- Collaborate with internal sales teams, channel partners, and external representatives to strengthen customer engagement and drive revenue growth
- Assist in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improved forecasting
- Contribute to proposal development, customer solutions, and product recommendations, including coordination with engineering or technical resources where needed
- Support CRM and order management processes by documenting customer interactions, entering data, and maintaining accurate sales records
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and training engagements to better understand customer needs and communicate value‑added solutions
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to enhance partner and customer engagement across assigned territories
- Engage cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product availability and market positioning

Demonstrate continuous learning, collaboration, and process improvement throughout all rotational experiences, while complying with all company policies and standards
Rotational Assignments
- Regional Sales (Agent Rep) – Learn territory planning, opportunity management, customer engagement, and competitive insight development while supporting field execution
- Channel Sales (Distributor Rep) – Support distributor relationships, partner programs, promotions, and performance analytics to accelerate sell‑through and partner engagement.

Technical Sales (Vertical/Product Specialist Overlay) – Translate technical requirements into solutions, coordinate proposals with engineering/operations, and recommend product configurations.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sales/marketing, or a related field with expected graduation of Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026
- Academic Performance: A well‑rounded academic background; preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proactive, results‑driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment; eager to take on new challenges and continuously improve.
- Experience: Relevant internship experience and/or leadership in school or community organizations preferred.
