Job Summary
Oversees the distribution operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products. Manages multiple distribution facilities, inventory, and transportation processes to optimize distribution performance. Ensures compliance with safety standards and improves operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Advises management on distribution strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives and market conditions.
- Aligns distribution policies and procedures with organizational goals, ensuring efficiency and scalability in operations across various locations.
- Controls all systems related to distribution, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that processes are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Approves strategic initiatives and key operational decisions to drive distribution performance, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and market requirements.
- Contributes to business objectives by developing long-term plans for distribution growth, efficiency, and sustainability, while collaborating with other departments.
- Develops a team of Directors and Senior Managers, providing leadership, coaching, and guidance to ensure effective distribution operations across diverse locations.
- Communicates distribution performance metrics and strategic initiatives to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and priorities.
- Designs or participates in the design of complex logistics systems and operational frameworks to enhance the company’s ability to meet market demand efficiently.
- Develops processes that improve distribution workflows and controls, ensuring scalability and the ability to meet future business needs.
