Location: Largo, FL

Job Description

•    Support New Product Development (NPD) and Maintenance of Line (MOL) cross functional teams/projects – develop Quality deliverables to ensure products launch On-Time and On-Quality.  
•    Responsible for developing Quality Control Plans, Testing Protocols, DFMEA/PFMEAs, Pilot Run and First Article Inspection.  
•    Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product and Project Management on Engineering Changes.
•    Support team and manufacturing sites in problem solving using 8D methodology to investigate product issues, identify root cause, corrective action.  Works across the organization and with outside suppliers communicate and resolve issues.
•    Provide measurement techniques, statistical data analysis techniques, new product introductions, production part approval, quality related customer relations, and quality cost reductions.
•    Perform returns analysis, work with Customer Service and Product teams to identify opportunities for product improvement and enhancement.
•    Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance TCAS Quality performance.
•    Supplier Quality Audits (Americas) in support of NPD/MOL projects, including audit reports, working with supplier to determine proper corrective and preventive actions, and closing out audit findings.
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelors/University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge/experience may be considered.

•    5+ years Quality experience in Product Development / Engineering and Supplier Quality.
•    Good working knowledge and experience with Regulatory standards such as UL, CSA etc.
•    Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Excellent structured problem solving and analytical skills related to product design, failure analysis.
•    Strong working knowledge of inspection and testing techniques and equipment.
•    ASQ certification.
•    Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint and SAP.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
•    Organizational agility/getting things done through others.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
