The Reliability Engineer is a key advocate for the implementation and continuous improvement of reliability best practices across the organization. This role collaborates with cross-functional plant teams to identify and execute opportunities that enhance equipment reliability through procedural improvements, equipment upgrades, and the adoption of emerging technologies. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment history, conducting root cause analyses of critical failures and supporting the design and deployment of new equipment with a focus on reliability and maintainability. The Reliability Engineer also contributes to autonomous maintenance initiatives and promotes a progressive maintenance strategy—from reactive to preventive, predictive and ultimately preventive-by-design. Participation in audits and performance assessments ensures alignment with the organization's long-term reliability goals.

  • Develops a world class lubrication program and monitors performance and execution.
  • Supports autonomous activities and provides skills training to operations team members.
  • Drives proactivity performance through supervision of planners and participation in scheduling activities with planners and coordinators.
  • Ensures CMMS users have been trained in system utilization, and audits activity to sustain system integrity and serves as a SAP PM subject matter expert for the plant.
