Job Description

 

Safety

Work with all operators on proper tooling care and proper PPE requirements when handling & Cleaning tooling
Wear all proper PPE when working with and maintaining tooling
Tooling, Dies and Training

Collect, Clean, maintain and organize tooling, dies and tooling/die resources.
Maintain Tooling/die Inventory
Maintain Tooling/die resource tools
Maintain Koldwelders/Koldweld dies
Purchase and create Requisitions for all tooling/die and its resources
Inspect used tooling and disposition/rework as necessary
Create Requisitions for the facility as needed
Work with vendors on tooling/die purchases, deliveries, design, and trials
Coordinate tooling/die changeout and changeover process
Train on new tooling procedures and work with other departments on procedure audits
Maintain and distribute spend report, scrap report and missing tooling report on a weekly, monthly and upon request basis
Maintain contact print wheel legend sheet and print wheel inventory
Maintain extrusion head inventory
Solutions

Check and maintain all solution systems
Pull samples of solutions daily, weekly, and monthly.  Work with maintenance, safety and production if not conforming
Prepare containers for dirty filter paper
Maintain or repair/replace leaking damaged filter paper containers
Work with Purchasing and Safety to coordinate filter paper pick up
Maintain inventory all solutions and their ingredients.
Repair or work with maintenance to maintain solutions systems flow and balance
Purchasing / Sourcing

Purchase all tooling, dies and their resources
Purchase all oils and system chemicals to maintain solution systems
Do any necessary tasks that are required.
Physical requirements

Constant walking, standing, and seating, frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying objects up to 40 lbs., occasional climbing
