Job Summary
This position is a key contributor to the CSC and has direct responsibility for facilitating continuous improvement activities at the CSC level in support of the value stream. Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, this individual plays an essential role in initiating, facilitating, implementing, and leading positive change within the organization. This individual will analyze business processes using various lean tools such as gap analysis, fishbone diagrams, and value stream maps to determine root causes. The essential goal is to facilitate progress, reduce costs, both in terms of sales and workflow inefficiencies. Excellent project management skills coupled with a positive leadership style will enable the individual to gain success as they lead cross functional teams in the quest to eliminate waste within all areas of operation.

• Provides direction to ensure that lean culture continues to grow.
• Leads cross-functional project teams to solve reoccurring problems.
• Identifies and eliminates waste in all CSC operations.
• Facilitates continuous improvement projects by defining and communicating scope, objectives, and direction to team members and management to ensure that the correct technologies fit, and appropriate strategies are implemented.
• Fosters a “bottom up” approach to continuous improvement (floor level up – gets “buy-in”)
• Standardizes and documents key plan operation processes.
• Responsible for implementing all OPS Training Initiatives. (Fishbone diagrams, value stream mapping).
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related engineering preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Thinking principles (ex: Value Stream Mapping, fishbone diagrams, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, standard work, and QCO).
• Ability to effectively lead small groups and provide support to achieve goals.
• Working knowledge of various safety regulations or standards (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, etc.)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills required.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours or shifts.
• Strong project management skills are required.
• Must have excellent computer skills including Excel, Work and Power Point.
