Job Summary
Leads national sales strategy for complex and specialized electrical products and market segments by applying expert-level commercial acumen and technical insight. Operates with full autonomy and interfaces directly with C-suite executives, both internally and externally, to shape long-term revenue growth and product development strategies. Solves unique and complex business challenges, contributes to functional strategy, and drives initiatives with enterprise-wide impact. Recognized as a subject-matter expert, this role influences internal direction and external client outcomes in highly competitive and regulated markets.
Key Responsibilities
Achieves national sales performance targets by leading cross-regional initiatives, aligning strategic priorities, and overseeing execution across key verticals.
Acts independently to set pricing frameworks, go-to-market strategies, and contracting terms for high-profile clients and technically complex product lines.
Drives strategic business development efforts by guiding account acquisition, contract negotiation, and long-term relationship management with major national and strategic accounts.
Develops methods for analyzing customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitor positioning to refine sales strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
Formulates business cases and revenue models to support product innovations, expansion into new channels, and long-range planning decisions.
Guides strategic collaboration between product management, marketing, and engineering to ensure offerings are aligned with market demand and technical requirements.
Facilitates executive-level negotiations and customer engagements to influence purchasing decisions, elevate brand equity, and close multi-year contracts.
Masters sales leadership by mentoring regional directors and senior managers on organizational goals, strategic influence, and complex deal management.
Evaluates team performance and modifies complex workflows or sales processes to increase accountability, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
