Southwire Job Description

Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and will be focused on increased sales and profitability. As a National Account Manager, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics, stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales. We also expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers. Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing business plans while inspiring a team to create an exceptional customer experience. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day sales/marketing activities, building long-term strategy, and improving our customer experience.


Key Responsibilities
(List in order of importance; max 10 responsibilities)
•    Meetings with Key Buyers from our Customers with decision ability that can positively/negatively impact the business in both revenue and profit.  
•    Responsible for evaluating the assortment of Products available and recommending and driving sales to improve product mix, placement, and promotion with top Customers.
•    Partner with Southwire Product Teams, Inventory planning and sourcing to develop and hit key timelines for product introductions through the channel, within new product development cycles that impact revenue performance throughout the year.
•    Significant planning between Southwire and Customer Personnel.
•    Sets and implements quarterly Promotional calendar with Southwire Marketing and customer merchants/marketing/inventory/logistics teams to drive year over year sales improvement.
•    Requires high level conversations with Store Managers, Merchandising Teams, plan o gram planning, development, and testing.
•    Manages our Satellite office and responsible for office management.
•    Significant analysis, reporting, and presentation skills for both internal and external personnel.
•    Ensures exceptional customer experience by collaborating closely with relevant internal teams on tasks such as new location launches, order mapping, new item additions across sales channels, and ensuring proper fulfillment and placement of promotional products throughout the customer network.
•    Drives customer net promotor scores by supporting customer experience team by providing direct support to inside/outside sales and category management team focusing on improving and engaging in the smooth flow of business relating to order management; communicates quality issues/returns/processes coordinating with Southwire QA team and customer. 

 

Education and Experience

Required

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's

Specialized Degree: Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field

Years of Experience: 5+
