Job Summary/Objective:
The Program Manager/QA position will be responsible for the interfacing between internal Product Owners, “Initiative Sponsors,” and the software team as new feature requests and business needs arise. This position will also perform detailed business analysis and actively seek our work within the company (even at times outside of the IT department), to facilitate company and group growth, as well as the speed of deliverables. Additionally, this role will act as the Quality Assurance (QA) tester where this person will be responsible for writing test plans, writing automation tests, black box, negative, EtE, Smoke and regression testing, and overall QA on the Knomentous product.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide project management for Agile teams, specifically focused on SCRUM methodologies. 
•    Manage requirements definition and functional application design, including user stories, use cases, and business requirement documents.
•    Analyze existing customer needs and work with product owner, business and development team to implement high value features and solutions.
•    Actively seek out new opportunities for the IT department to enhance the performance of the business both independently, and with our external customers.
•    Create and maintain functional and technical documentation and standards.
•    Write test plans and automation tests.
•    Perform all forms of manual testing including (but not exclusive of): Black Box testing, negative testing, End to End testing, Smoke testing and regression testing.
•    Write bugs in concise, clear manner with full reproduction steps in JIRA.
•    When possible, work with the engineers to debug non-reproductive bugs, demonstrating a clear understanding of developer tools included in modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Edge).

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Computer sciences or related
  • 10+ year related experience, electrical Industry a plus
  • PMP certificate preferred
