Location: Remote but MUST live in Texas or be willing to relocate to Texas - preferably a major city in Texas.

Southwire Job Description

Job Functions:

  • Ensure the delivery of sales targets across all product platforms within electrical distribution
  • Ensure all agency & customer sales teams are properly trained on all product platforms
  • Drive conversions of Components, Permanent Lighting, Tools & Equipment, & Assembled Solutions to gain stock position within distribution
  • Maintain and drive customer relationships with all key levels within the customer to include Sales Managers, Supplier Relations, Purchasing Managers, & key branch level associates
  • Develop field action plans that support the overall business objectives and be able to report out on monthly to provide the business insights on progress
  • Pipeline management across all product platforms within Salesforce.com
  • Work cross functionally with the product team to provide key voice of customer to help drive continues improvement and innovation
  • Expectation that time is spent accordingly – 65% - Customer, 25% - Agent, & 10% - Strategy
     


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in Electrical Industry
  • Exceptional sales skills (prospecting, persuasion, negotiation, relationship management, persistence, closing skills)
  • Quick study with affinity for detail and willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated with high energy levels and positive, reassuring outlook
  • Excel in organization, time management and multitasking skills
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of not only all products and services, but of the competition’s products and services
