Job Summary

Plans and manages projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. Coordinates project resources and progress reporting while leading troubleshooting efforts to address issues and ensure successful outcomes. Monitors overall project performance, evaluates risks and results, and recommends adjustments to schedules, costs, and/or resources to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction meet or exceed expectations as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a leader in managing complex innovation, supply or cost related projects, overseeing scheduling, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry standards, and project goals.
  • Gate keeper of the Stage Gate process focuses on adherence to the existing process through the ideation, prototyping, testing and execution stages of projects while also recommending continuous improvements to the go forward Stage Gate process to deliver more projects on time, on cost, and in full.
  • Advises senior leadership on project performance to schedule, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to optimize execution and resource allocation.
  • Interfaces with cross-functional teams to align project goals, track progress, and ensure resource availability, acting as the central point of contact for all project-related inquiries.
  • Handles complex project related issues, identifying potential risks and working with the cross functional team to propose actionable solutions to mitigate delays.
  • Instructs and coaches cross functional project teams, providing guidance on best practices, risk management strategies, and  to ensure successful project execution and team development.
  • Maintains category innovation roadmap and tracks resource allocation availability.
  • Offers mentorship and support in the execution of project tasks, professional development, and achieving team goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Career Experience: 3-5 Years

 

Preferred Education & Experience

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Preferred Experience: 5-10 Years

Preferred License: PMP
