Job Summary

The Planner is responsible for coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and optimizing the use of resources to meet production targets. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills to balance demand, inventory, and capacity, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve timely delivery and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans to resolve bottlenecks or delays.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory movements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Communicate schedule changes and priorities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports on production efficiency, capacity utilization, and delivery performance.
  • Implement and support systems for production planning, such as ERP or MRP software.
  • Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions or equipment failures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Required Education & Experience

    Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

    Specialized Degree: Industrial engineering, business, or other related field.

    Years of Experience: 2-4 years

    Field of Expertise: Industrial engineering, business, or other related field.

    Preferred Education & Experience

    Specialized Degree: Industrial engineering, business, or other related field.

    Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

    Field of Expertise: Industrial manufacturing, wire and cable.
