Job Summary
The rolewill provide support for Southwire Operations through planning system improvement projects and data reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed understanding of all Southwire operations planning systems, including SAP ECC, SAP IBP, Advaris, BI, Celonis, and SAC
- Support continued implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to further leverage our systems and improve Operations planning
- Support Operations through retrieving and analyzing data to help facilitate key operations planning decisions.
- Support Southwire Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by developing and implementing needed system changes for process improvement.
- Support and maintenance of Planning Item master data for Southwire W&C products to facilitate lead time calculation and OTIF improvement.
- Assist with system enhancements for WIP accuracy at W&C plants.
- Improve Excel tools for conveying frequently communicated data and reports.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience required.
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP IBP preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess leadership skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work well in teams with sales, product management, and operations.
- Must have strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office setting.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
