Job Summary
The Senior Vice President of Capital Planning & Technology Optimization is a strategic executive responsible for leading the development and execution of capital investment strategies, technology modernization to support enterprise growth, asset strategies, processing optimization, and operational excellence. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, business partnership, and collaboration across all functions to optimize manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Planning/Execution – This executive helps to develop multi-yea capital investment strategies, prioritizes projects based on ROIC and risks, as well as oversees the budgeting, forecasting and execution of capital projects.
- Process Technology Optimization – Works with Operations Teams to design a technology roadmap that modernizes the manufacturing operation, integrates emerging technologies and enhances productivity and cost reduction, ensuring the highest quality at the best value.
- Central Engineering – Leads the Central Engineering Team to ensure we maintain the right level of technical expertise and can sustain our technology leadership through our facilities
- Reliability – Centered Maintenance – Leads the development of key reliability strategies for critical equipment that is supported by predictive maintenance tools, critical spares, and preventative maintenance techniques to drive the highest level of equipment availability and life cycle.
- Team Development – Leading a high performing team of engineers, technical resources, and project managers to lead, teach, and advise developing talent
- Stakeholder communication – Fosters collaboration with cross – functional teams and demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate a strategic plan and performance outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement – Constantly seeking ways to drive innovation, while also leveraging continuous improvement tools like Lean, Six Sigma, and Structured Problem-Solving. Identify and integrate Industry 4.0, IoT, Ai, and Machine Learning.
