Job Summary
The Sourcing Manager designs and executes global sourcing strategies on assigned products to improve cost, quality, service and total cost of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Work in collaboration with operations management, quality/compliance, product management, and supply chain teams to qualify new sources of supply.
Identifies risks within the products assigned and works closely with stakeholders to eliminate or take mitigating actions for strategic risks.
Develop, implement, and manage master supply agreements (MSAs), including analyzing proposals and negotiating costs, terms, incentives and/or service for purchased products.
Lead and support the development of business strategies to identify and source new items and re-source existing items to optimize total cost of ownership.
Manage supplier collaboration to drive innovation and gain a competitive advantage.
Support new product development process by managing supplier selection, launch schedules and cost targets.
Conduct commodity specific competitor, geographic, and industry analysis to identify cost, material selection, manufacturing techniques and material sourcing to improve company’s competitive position.
Become the assigned category leader, understand the sales market, the products, and the supplier base current and future prospects.
Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with suppliers to review scorecards and improve supplier’s performance.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience Requirement: 5+ years in Sourcing, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management

Other Preferred Skills
Familiarity and/or background related to sourcing of Assembled Solutions or similar type products.
Strong computer skills with emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Understanding of MRP/ERP software systems. SAP experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Negotiating skills.
Organizational agility/getting things done through others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Product knowledge or experience in a consumer goods environment.
Willing to travel as needed to support the business plans.
